The 70 acres of manicured lawns and gardens at the historic 1800s Mt Sturgeon Homestead allows you to create the wedding of your dreams. Out of town guests can be flown in by plane to Hamilton, or land by helicopter on the homestead's grounds. Marquees can be erected for large crowds, or the Homestead itself can be used as an historical backdrop for your special day.
Alternatively, nature lovers might choose their favourite ancient red gum as the site to take their vows. The beautiful grounds, with panoramic views of the Grampians, can then be used for spectacular photographs.
The modern, architecturally designed Event Centre, set in landscaped native gardens, is also a popular choice for weddings. With floor to ceiling windows and wide outdoor decking, the natural light and views of Mount Sturgeon are spectacular.
