Dunkeld is a great choice for a weekend golfing getaway. The unique 18-hole Grampians Golf Club is located between Mount Abrupt and Mount Sturgeon on the Victoria Valley Road in Dunkeld. The course, situated in a secluded bush land setting has black ‘scraps' and is naturally fertilised by its abundant kangaroo population. Other wildlife such as native birds, emus and wallabies are frequently spotted on the greens.
