Upon arrival at the hotel, guests can collect a walking guide at reception which details each walk and includes descriptions and photos of the flora and fauna you can expect to see on the way.
The Royal Mail Hotel provides Hiker's Hampers on request.
HORSE RIDING
The Grampians Horse Riding Centre can be found in the Wartook valley, a short drive from Dunkeld. They offer rides through open plains and dense forest for both experienced and novice riders.
MASSAGE
Allow one of our qualified and experienced massage therapists to treat you to a relaxing therapeutic massage. Advanced bookings are required. Please enquire with reception.
YOGA
Griffins Hill is a peaceful, modern yoga retreat set in a six acre garden with spectacular views of the Southern Grampians. Small group yoga and relaxation sessions are available that cater for absolute beginners to advanced. Retreat weekends, private and small group classes (from $25) are offered to Royal Mail Guests.
HAMILTON ART GALLERY
One of the finest galleries in Australia, Hamilton Art Gallery is famous for its outstanding collection of fine and decorative arts and is located only a short drive from Dunkeld. Silver, glass and porcelain, oriental ceramics, tapestries, furniture, paintings and prints are featured in six modern galleries. Many of the treasures are gifts from the gracious country homesteads around Hamilton, the first area of pastoral settlement in Victoria.
The Gallery's unique collection offers a stimulating experience for all visitors and is an excellent educational resource for students of art and history.
The permanent collection of over 7000 items is complemented with a program of temporary exhibitions.
SIGHT SEEING
The Grampians National Park offers endless sightseeing opportunities which include mountainous look outs, waterfalls, lakes, aboriginal rock art, and bushwalks.
